Tekla Structural Designer- How to Apply Bracings Design of Bracings

 Tekla Structural Designer is advanced software used for Structural Analysis and Design of a Building. In Tekla, we can do the detailing of steel structures as well as RCC structures we can create RCC buildings and we can insert the rebars in Tekla structures Designer software.  We can also do the form works and structural drawing without the help of any other software.

As we know Bracings are set of crise cross cylinder members which are used to established or supports other members.

Let’s follow the steps to know how to apply Bracings in TSD.               

Step 1

First of all we will go to Structure base view then we will model some columns for that go to model tab then go to the steel section and select column option and create in the required place and will also put the beam.

Go to the Structure 3D view and check the column and beam. Now we will go to the Structure 1 view and then we can provide some more beam, as we can see here beams at two level had been provided.

Now in the model, we will provide a brace for that go to Model tab then go to Steel section and select the Brace option and at two corners and provide the braces.

After providing the braces we will do validation, after that we will define the load combinations and after defining the load combinations we will go to the Design tab and Design All static and as we can see Design has been done.

STAAD Pro Vs Tekla Structural Designer .Which One Is Better ?
