How to study the Reinforcement Drawings of beams which have been generated in TSD.

Tekla Structural Designer is advanced software used for Structural Analysis and Design of a Building. In Tekla, we can do the detailing of steel structures as well as RCC structures. We can create RCC buildings and we can insert the rebars in Tekla structures Designer software.  We can also do the form works and structural drawing without the help of any other software. Let’s go step by step to learn how to study the Reinforcement Drawings of beams that have been generated in TSD. Step 1 As we can see, this building has been fully designed and analysed. Now, just right click on the beam then click on the report for the member and it will generate the report for the member and we will see this and after that, we can also check the file for the particular beam.     Fig.1 Step 2 Now we have 3 numbers of sections, for each beam, it has been made and the respective cross-section is also given. Step 3 Now if we just go through the drawing, we can see that we have 2 bars of 16mm at the top an

Tekla Structural Designer System requirement for TSD.

System requirements for effective operation in TSD are as follows: 1. CPU: • It should be a multi-core Intel i5 series or above, Xeon or AMD equivalent. • Highest affordable performance is recommended. 2.  MEMORY: • Memory should be 16 GB. • Memory requirements are highly dependent on model content.   3.  OS • It should be 64bit Microsoft Windows 7 SP1 / 8.1 / 10. • The OS must be running the latest service packs/updates. 4. GRAPHICS • It should be 1600*900 resolution (1920*1080 or higher graphics) • 1 GB or higher of dedicated RAM is required. • Utilizes HOOPS Visualize, a third party graphics e

Tekla Structural Designer Restoring tree menus

Tekla Structural Designer is advanced software used for Structural Analysis and Design of a Building. In Tekla, we can do the detailing of steel structures as well as RCC structures. We can create RCC buildings and we can insert the rebars in Tekla structures Designer software.  We can also do the form works and structural drawing without the help of any other software. Let’s go step by step to restore tree menus in TSD. Step 1 Basically, tree menus are presented by default on the left side of the screen or if in any case we just missed them or we have proved them that they are not appearing, so in this case, we can just go to the window then turn on the properties window, structure window and scene content also. Scene content, structure window, Tekla online and report index have been groped together and just place at the right side corner. Step 2 If we cannot turn on the properties window, in this case, we can just go to the home then click on settings then click on the open folder an

Tekla Structural Designer- Steel connection design

Tekla Structural Designer is advanced software used for Structural Analysis and Design of a Building. In Tekla, we can do the detailing of steel structures as well as RCC structures. We can create RCC buildings and we can insert the rebars in Tekla structures Designer software.  We can also do the form works and structural drawing without the help of any other software. Let’s go step by step to know how to connect steel designs in TSD. Step 1 As we can see it is a steel connection design that is fully designed and analysed in TSD.   Fig. 1 Step 2 There are two methods for steel connection design. In the first method, we can use the analysis result then we can manually design the connections to be bolted, rebated and welded and the second method is that we can use the additional add on in TSD. So here we will know both the methods. So as we can see the height of the two columns has been increased. Step 3 Now we will go to the connection window and we can right-click on the connection th

Tekla Structural Designer- How to model slant roof in TSD.

Let’s go step by step to know how to model slant roofs in TSD. Step 1 First of all, we will open a new project and define some construction levels. After designing construction levels just click on ok then we will go to the base level and create some grid lines. Now we will create the gridline of 6m then make another grid line parallel to it then join these two grid lines with another two grid lines, one from the top and another from the bottom. Now extend both the parallel grid lines and insert some grid lines and we can also change the properties as per our preference.    Fig. 1 Step 2 Now we will insert some columns.
