Tekla Structural Designer System requirement for TSD.

Tekla Structural Designer is advanced software used for Structural Analysis and Design of a Building. In Tekla, we can do the detailing of steel structures as well as RCC structures. We can create RCC buildings and we can insert the rebars in Tekla structures Designer software.  We can also do the form works and structural drawing without the help of any other software.

System requirements for effective operation in TSD are as follows:

1. CPU:

• It should be a multi-core Intel i5 series or above, Xeon or AMD equivalent.

• Highest affordable performance is recommended.

2.  MEMORY:

• Memory should be 16 GB.

• Memory requirements are highly dependent on model content.  

3.  OS

• It should be 64bit Microsoft Windows 7 SP1 / 8.1 / 10.

• The OS must be running the latest service packs/updates.

4. GRAPHICS

• It should be 1600*900 resolution (1920*1080 or higher graphics)

• 1 GB or higher of dedicated RAM is required.

• Utilizes HOOPS Visualize, a third party graphics engine available from tech soft 3D. 

5. DISK SPACE:

• 1GB or more of free space for installation,

• Operational disk space requirements are highly dependent on model content.

6. INTERNET CONNECTION:

• Required for access to online services and some documentation.

7.  LICENSE SERVICE: Tekla structural license service (2.06)

• Including Sentinel RMS 9.2.1

STAAD Pro Vs Tekla Structural Designer .Which One Is Better ?
