Tekla Structural Designer How to design the staircase in tekla structural designer.

Tekla Structural Designer is advanced software used for Structural Analysis and Design of a Building. In Tekla, we can do the detailing of steel structures as well as RCC structures. We can create RCC buildings and we can insert the rebars in Tekla structures Designer software.  We can also do the form works and structural drawing without the help of any other software. Let’s go step by step to learn how to design the staircase in tekla structural design. Step 1 First of all we need to create the frame, for creating the frame we just need to click on the frame option and we will create it and after that we will go to the structure window and in this we open the frame then just double click on it. So now we want to create a beam in the mid portion so that we can give a beam for resting on the letting, so for this we just select the beam and we join the middle portion from one end to another. So we have made the midway for all letting. Now we will take the option of flat slab.

Tekla Structural Designer How to rise or drop a RCC slab in TSD.

We can create RCC buildings and we can insert the rebars in Tekla structures Designer software.  We can also do the form works and structural drawing without the help of any other software. Let’s go step by step on how to raise or drop a RCC slab in TSD. Step 1 First of all, we will observe the slab and we found that the slab is of the same level as the beam. Now we can also provide an offset to it, if we provide a positive value it goes upward and if we provide negative value it goes downward. Now we will put the negative value in vertical offset, so as we can see it goes downward. After that, if we want to split the slab and give rise for the slab, we can do it also by just going to the option of model then select the slab split option then select the line along which we want to split. So after that the

Tekla Structural Designer- Staircase Modelling and Loading in TSD .

Let’s follow the steps to create modelling of staircase Step 1 First of all we will create a simple model then after that on landing side we will create a frame for that go to model tab and select frame option then simply click on that grid line where landing will place, after creating the frame just of the frame for that go to structure window then go to frame and open the frame..   Fig. 1 Step 2 So now we want to create a beam in the mid portion so that we can give a beam for resting of the landing for that we take the beam created in the mid portion, now we have made midway levels for all landings.   Fig. 2 Step 3 No

Tekla Structural Designer How to restore the 3D view .

Let’s follow the steps to know how to restore the 3D view in TSD Step 1 As you can see in fig.1 we have a model which can be opened at structures option in the structure window you can open various levels. We can open any levels like structure base as shown in fig.2 or others if we have closed the 3D view model so how we can restore it so for restoring we need to just double click on structures option and you can see in fig.3 we have restored the 3D model again.   Fig. 1 Fig. 2 Fig. 3   So like this, you can open the 3D model if you closed completely so by following these steps you can restore it back in TSD .For more d

Step 2 Fig.1   Now we will go to the model then we click on a rectangular wizard and give direction and then click on finish.     Fig.2 Now we will place the columns, so go to the columns section and place it then we will join the beams then go to loads and select the dead loads and then go to VDL and select the element 1 and 2. After that put, t

Tekla Structural Designer: G+1 Building Detailing: Converting File from Tekla Structural Designer to Tekla Structures

Let’s see below how to import files in TSD. Step 1 So as you can see in Fig. 1 that we have designed a G+1 building of 650 sqft. Now I want to import this model to Tekla Structures and then we will complete its detailing. So firstly you will have to go to Tekla Structures export which comes under the Home tab so when you will open the option it will ask you to synchronize the Tekla Structural Designer model with Tekla Structures so just click on the next option and then it will ask to relocate export model so we will set it as default and press next it will ask you that which things you want to keep in Tekla Structures
