Tekla Structural Designer How to rise or drop a RCC slab in TSD.

Tekla Structural Designer is advanced software used for Structural Analysis and Design of a Building. In Tekla, we can do the detailing of steel structures as well as RCC structures. We can create RCC buildings and we can insert the rebars in Tekla structures Designer software.  We can also do the form works and structural drawing without the help of any other software.

Let’s go step by step on how to raise or drop a RCC slab in TSD.

Step 1

First of all, we will observe the slab and we found that the slab is of the same level as the beam. Now we can also provide an offset to it, if we provide a positive value it goes upward and if we provide negative value it goes downward. Now we will put the negative value in vertical offset, so as we can see it goes downward. After that, if we want to split the slab and give rise for the slab, we can do it also by just going to the option of model then select the slab split option then select the line along which we want to split. So after that the splat has been splitted.  Now we will select the particular slab, after selecting this we can make the vertical zero..

So now if we go to the 3D view we can find that we have created 2 levels of slab. So like this we can raise and drop a RCC slab in TSD.
