Tekla Structural Designer How to Use Find, Project wiki, Walk Commands.

Tekla Structural Designer is advanced software used for Structural Analysis and Design of a Building. In Tekla, we can do the detailing of steel structures as well as RCC structures. We can create RCC buildings and we can insert the rebars in Tekla structures Designer software.  We can also do the form works and structural drawing without the help of any other software.

Let’s follow the steps to know how to Use Find, Project wiki, Walk Commands.

Step 1

First under the option of Home look at the option of Project Wiki, so in this project wiki, we can find the details of our project click on the Project wiki and go to the option of Metrics and here we can go to the Concrete option to find the no of beams, no of column etc. using the option of project wiki we can get the idea about the size and no of members which are used in the project.

Now we have another option that is the Find option. Just click on the Find option in the Home tab and we can find a particular column, beams, slab etc. Let’s type B1 here we can see the beams coming out for base beams and different floors of beams also located here. Now if we want to find columns then just type c and here we have 14 no’s of columns. And also we can find slabs and wind panels also. This find command is used when a large project is worked on.

Now let’s know the Walk option for that go to Home tab and select the walk option up arrow is for zoom in and down arrow is used for zoom out and left arrow to go left and right arrow to go right this way we can visualise that entered the room inside how it looks like and it can be used to visualise how the structural members look like from inside. 

 

So like this, you can use Find, Project wiki, Walk Commands in TSD

STAAD Pro Vs Tekla Structural Designer .Which One Is Better ?
