TSD How to import Gridlines of separate floors in TSD.

Tekla Structural Designer is advanced software used for Structural Analysis and Design of a Building. In Tekla, we can do the detailing of steel structures as well as RCC structures. We can create RCC buildings and we can insert the rebars in Tekla structures Designer software.  We can also do the form works and structural drawing without the help of any other software.

Let’s go step by step to know how to import Gridlines of separate floors in TSD.

Step 1

First of all, select the model and do this in 0 layers. After that, select the center line and make them in the center line layer which we have created i.e. blue in colour and then save the file.

Now we will go to the ground floor option, create a new file and press F7 to turn on the grids and we will do some settings of the dimensions. First of all, we will define our text, dimensions and leader also. After that we will create a line of 9 inches and then copy the ground floor model and just align the line on it.

We can also make some changes to the model, put the model in the 0 layer. After putting the model in a 0 layer, put the model in a centre line and then save the file in DWG and then save it in a DXF format.

Now we will import the files in TSD software and do some changes. As we can the center line is blue in colour, so go to the construction level and select shadow and click on finish. So by this we can also import the other floors in TSD.

 

So like this we can import Gridlines of separate floors in TSD.
