TSD How to apply Earthquake loads.

Tekla Structural Designer is advanced software used for Structural Analysis and Design of a Building. In Tekla, we can do the detailing of steel structures as well as RCC structures. We can create RCC buildings and we can insert the rebars in Tekla structures Designer software.  We can also do the form works and structural drawing without the help of any other software.

Let’s go step by step to know how to apply Earthquake loads.

Step 1

First of all, we will go to loads then click on seismic loads and then click on the seismic wizard and put the basic information in it then select the use model response spectrum analysis then select the structure type and then we will select moment frame system and click on next then click on finish. Now it will create some load combination as per the seismic load and select operating then we click on LS and then click on finish. After that, we will generate some load combination then click on generate then select LS then click on finish and then click on ok.

So as we can see seismic load has been applied. So like this, we can apply seismic loads in TSD.

STAAD Pro Vs Tekla Structural Designer .Which One Is Better ?
