Tekla Structural Designer How to trim grid lines up to a uniform length in TSD



Tekla Structural Designer is advanced software used for Structural Analysis and Design of a Building. In Tekla, we can do the detailing of steel structures as well as RCC structures. We can create RCC buildings and we can insert the rebars in Tekla structures Designer software.  We can also do the form works and structural drawing without the help of any other software.

Let’s go step by step to know how to trim grid lines up to a uniform length in TSD.

Step 1

As we have our model in which we have to trim the grid lines. So for trimming gridlines, go edit and select rationalise then click on shrink/Extend grid & construction lines and then click on ok.

Now we can see that all the construction lines have been trimmed in a uniform length throughout. So by this, we can trim grid lines up to a uniform length in TSD.

So like this, you can trim the grid lines in TSD.
