How to Design starter bars in Column/ Footing

So let’s go step by step to design Starter bars in the column.

Step 1

As you can see in fig.1 for designing the starter bar the model is fully analyzed and designed. After that, if we want to show our starter bars we need to go to the draw options and we will simply go to the drawing settings. In the drawing settings we can go to the member setting schedules. We have the option of column schedule and beam schedule, so in column schedule, we can include all the options that are in general and click on ok.

For generating column schedule we will have to work on the AutoCAD file, In the AutoCAD file all the information are given like column but we don’t have any information regarding the starter bar so for the starter bar we will close the AutoCAD file and we will just go to the drawing settings and we will include starter bars and click on ok. After clicking on ok just create another column schedule and then click on ok. We will see the column schedule has been generated in the AutoCAD file and you will see that starter bar details are also showing in the AutoCAD i.e. 4 nos of 12mm bars.
