How to remove the error of member collision and member intersection

Tekla Structural Designer is an advanced software used for Structural Analysis and Design of a Building. In Tekla we can do detailing of steel structures as well as RCC structures. We can create RCC buildings and we can insert the rebars in Tekla structures Designer software. We can also do the form works and structural drawing without the help of any other softwares .

Let’s go step by step to remove the error of member collision and member intersection.

Step 1

As we can see we have created a model including some columns and grids. Now if we want to assign some beams in this model, we will just click on these concrete beams and we will just assign the beams by selecting all this. After that we will just click on the welded option, it is showing an error in the member Intersection that the two beams are intersecting. To solve the problem, we have just two methods, first is just delete the member and just click on the beams and join it part by part and now we can see it has no error. Second method, take the beams and assign it and also take the node to the centre and we can see no error in it.

Let us now understand the problem of member collision. We just inserted the beams and welded it, we can see errors in it.

To solve this problem we need to delete the member and after that we will assign the beams again and now we can see it is showing no error. So this is the process to solve the problems.
