TSD: How to change Utilisation ratio

Tekla Structural Designer is an advanced software used for Structural Analysis and Design of a Building. In Tekla we can do detailing of steel structures as well as RCC structures. We can create RCC buildings and we can insert the rebars in Tekla structures Designer software. We can also do the form works and structural drawing without the help of any other softwares .

Let’s go step by step to know how to change the Utilization ratio.

Step 1

As we can see we have a building which is designed in TSD. To check the utilization ratios do the following, just click on review and press the designed and analysis button once and now we will get the designed ratio and each member is colour coded to indicate the designed ratio.

After preceding our structure view, just go to the design and click on the designed and analysis for showing the members have been passed or failed. So now just make one beam save which have been unsave and then just right click on the beam and at left side below we have many options in which we have to click on utilization ratio and then click on apply to auto design, apply to check, edit the ratio limit and just click on the beam then select the design member and click on static. So, now we can see the member has been passed. So this is the process to make the member pass by increasing the utilization ratio.
