How to find or check the analysis results of axial force, moments, seismic effect in TSD?

Tekla Structural Designer is software that gives engineers the power to analyze and design buildings efficiently and profitably. Fully automated and packed with many unique features for optimized concrete and steel design.

A building will be applied with many loads and now we are going to find the action of earthquake or seismic loads of a particular analyzed building.

Refer the below steps to find out the analysis results:

Step 1

Open the building model (forces or loads are fully applied) to which effects or analysis results to be known in TSD (I’m taking G+2 building model as example), so now change the default structural view to solver view.

After the solver view, change it to the results view, and select the load combinations (of your choice based on design), then turn on results & seismic in the toolbar.

So by here you can check all the results of analysis like deflection, axial forces, reactions etc…, which will be in the toolbar (just turn on the options and view the results).

You can play around with the results by changing the magnitudes of the deflection etc..,

So by following the same process you can check the values of forces, reaction & also the pattern of torsion.

And yes this is the simple process to know the analysis results (seismic action) of the completely analyzed and designed building model….
